ABOUT KEMENTRANS

Ministry of Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia is a ministry in the Government of Indonesia that organizes government affairs in the field of transmigration and is responsible to the President. The ministry is led by a Minister of Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia who is answered by Mr. M. Iftitah Sulaiman since October 21, 2024.

Based on Presidential Regulation Number 172 of 2024 concerning the Ministry of Transmigration Article 5, the Ministry of Transmigration has the task of organizing government affairs in the field of transmigration to assist the President in organizing state government. In carrying out the duties as referred to in Article 5, the Ministry organizes functions:

1. formulating, stipulating, and implementing policies in the field of transmigration area development and development, as well as economic development and empowerment of transmigration communities;
2. implementation of technical guidance and supervision on the implementation of the Ministry's affairs in the regions;
3. coordinating the implementation of tasks, coaching, and providing administrative support to all organizational elements within the Ministry;
4. management of state property/wealth that is the responsibility of the Ministry;
5. supervision of the implementation of tasks within the Ministry;
6. implementation of substantive support to all organizational elements within the Ministry; and
7. implementation of other functions assigned by the President.
